Can Invisalign® fix teeth in six months?

invisalign dedham | man with clear alignersInvisalign takes anywhere from several months to more than two years to straighten teeth, with an average of 18 months. However, some patients may achieve results in six months. The only way to be sure is to see your Dedham dentist for a comprehensive consultation.

Invisalign can address:

  • Bite Misalignment
  • Overcrowded Teeth
  • Overlapping Teeth
  • Twisted Teeth
  • Unusual Spacing
  • Midline Issues

The Invisalign Process

Invisalign before and after at six months typically means a straighter smile than when you started treatment, but the work may not be finished.

The first step is your consultation to determine candidacy, costs, and the length of time you’ll need to wear your aligners.

If you’re a candidate, we take impressions, and the Invisalign lab uses our results to create an ordered sequence of custom aligners. You wear each set in order for approximately two weeks, then move on to the next set until you’ve finished your supply.

You can remove your aligners during meals and to clean your teeth without eating restrictions and easier oral hygiene sessions.
